Coming to the ergonomics, the device has 8MP facing camera, proximity sensor, speaker groove and the LED flash on the front. To its back side it has 20 MP fast focus camera with dual LED flash and the fingerprint sensor right below it. The back panel looks clean and beautiful with the ceramic finishing.

The phone comes with an extra key on the left edge which can be customizable along with the SIM and microSD card slot.

Honor 7 is available in two colors, mystery grey and fantasy silver. Both the colors looks so premium on the metal finish in hand and it is all your choice which colored version to choose as they won’t differ by their specs.

If you are looking out for a premium phone in middle range budget, Honor 7 should be in your wish-list.

Display

Honor 7 comes with 5.2 inch IPS NEO LCD capacitive 1080p display that is spread on 423 PPI. The screen quality is good and the viewing angles are great.

The size of the screen makes the phone smaller unlike other flagship smartphones in the market. The display covers 76.7% of the screen-to-body ratio which illusions the screen look larger when watching videos and playing games.

Processor, RAM & Operating System

Huawei powered Honor 7 with Hisilicon Kirin 935 Octa-Core processor clocking at two different core segment speeds i.e., 4*A53 at 2.2GHz and 4*A53 at 1.5GHz and is supported by 3 GB RAM and Mali-T628 MP4 GPU.

The configuration can run multiple tasks without any lag as the device comes with Android 5.1 based EMUI v3.1 (Emotion UI) on the board.

Storage

Honor 7 comes with 16 GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB through micro SD card. In terms of memory, the device is a beast. It stands out in those few devices list that support expandability up to 128 GB.

Camera

Huawei Honor 7 comes with powerful 20 MP rear camera with dual-tone flash. It can take capture pictures filled over 5152x3888 pixels and can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

Both the cameras can be operated over different modes and there are no special features except a couple of filters to talk much about.

Connectivity

Honor 7 is a single SIM phone, that too of Nano size which supports 4G/3G/2G networks. The SIM connector tray can hold a single Nano-SIM and a micro SD card at a time.

It has Bluetooth v4.1 with A2DP, EDR and LE support. It enables faster data transfer by consuming lower battery power. It also has Wi-Fi connectivity supporting 802.11 b/g/n with 2.4G speed.

Honor 7 can be wired through microUSB v2.0, the common wired connectivity of a generation. If it was a C-type connector, it would have surely given One Plus a hard rock to swallow.

A great phone will have a great battery. Honor 7 comes under that category. It comes with 3100mAh battery that can stay more than a day on moderate usage and can stay all day on heavy usage as well.
