Offers on Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro & Realme X | Which Phone to Buy in Today's Sale?

The new flagships of Redmi, Redmi K20 & Redmi K20 Pro are going on a sale at 12 PM, today. Realme who is digging at Redmi since the hashtag #BelieveTheHype was tweeted, also bringing the newest competitor for K20 and K20 Pro, Realme X on sale today at the same time. It is not so obvious that these two devices are available on Flipkart alongside their websites, mi.com and realme.com.

If you are one of those desperate customers waiting for the next sale of these two devices, I am sure you would have been confused between choosing one of them, as they sound and appear alike.

I know there is no much time for the sale and you are still clung at a confusion. Let me make it quicker and easier for you.

Should I Buy Redmi K20 Pro?

If you are no aware of the fact that K20 Pro comes with flagship Snapdragon 855. This processor is the best premium processor that we have available in the market.

It comes in two memory variants 6/128 and 8/256 priced at ₹27,999 and ₹30,999 respectively, which is pretty picky and comes closer to OnePlus 7's price.

The battery with 4000mAh juice is the noteworthy factor here. For a smartphone with a premium flagship processor, the battery is a nightmare. if you observe, this weird combination will mostly occur in mid-range premium smartphones - though happening in high priced premium smartphones as well these days.

The K20 Pro is equipped with the triple camera setup on the back, 48MP+ 13MP + 8MP and 20MP on the front.

It comes with 9V/2A charger inside the box though it supports 27V quick charge.

The best thing I like in K20 Pro is the company's promise to remove ads on the interface. I don't need to tell you how annoying the ads will be in a beautiful MIUI10.

K20 Pro is a premium flagship. Never compare it with K20 or Realme X. It doesn't make any sense.

Should I Buy Redmi K20?

Having Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 on board and available in 64GB and 128GB variants accompanied by 6GB RAM option, Redmi K20 is priced at ₹21,999 and ₹23,999 on Flipkart.

The configurations do not change except the processor and GPU on the device.
Comparatively to the K20 Pro, if you wanted to buy a 128GB device, better extend your budget and get an SD855 flagship device at ₹28,000.

If your choice is 6/64, you should rethink about your decision, as Realme X is available at closer range with VOOC charging.

Should I Buy Realme X?

Apart from considering Snapdragon 710 on board and weird 4/128 and 8/128 memory options, the software is one more thing to talk about in Realme X.

The memory variant 4/128 is a gimmick trick to make the customer look for 8/128 with an implanted logic. They sell phones with all enthusiasm but fails to provide timely and bugfree updates. If you are a Realme user, you would have known the upset users on the Realme community already.

Technically, speaking, Realme X is a great device with similar performance to Redmi K20's SD730 processor. If you wanted to go for a device under ₹20,000 budget, Realme X 8/128 is your answer.
