Windows operating system has a security vulnerability through which the admin password can be hacked so easily. This vulnerability might not have been observed by many of the Windows operating system users. So be careful when you allow someone to use your Windows PC.

Hacking Windows 7 Administrator Password

The following demonstration shows you how the admin password of a Windows 7 PC can be easily hacked. This trick works in previous versions of the Windows 7 also. It may also work in Windows 8 unless the admin set a picture password.

Step 1: Right-click on the ‘My Computer’ icon from the desktop.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Manage’ option from the context menu. A ‘Computer Management’ windows will be opened.

Step 3: Double click on ‘Local Users & Groups’ from the ‘System Tools’. It will show the users and groups like this,

Step 4: Double click on ‘Users folder’ to open the list of users. The list of accounts will be shown like this,

Step 5: Right-click on the folder and click on ‘Set Password’ option from the context menu. A dialogue box will be opened warning about the password change issue. This look like this,

Step 6: Clicking on the ‘Proceed’ button closes the warning window and new windows pop up asking for the ‘New Password’. It won’t ask the old password here. Take a look at the screenshot below.
