Samsung Galaxy Note 10: Complete Preview for Buyers

Look what we got here! A new Samsung #GalaxyNote10. It is stunning and never miss out any detail from the leaks. Yeah! It spoiled all the thrill.

Regardless of the leaks and expectations, I always liked the design part of the Galaxy Note series. The perfect shape with no much rounded rectangular edges, curved screen and thin bezels. I would say the previous thin bezels are beautiful and so symmetric. Look at the punch hole on the top-middle section of the screen. How satisfying to watch. Aww!

Design:

Let’s talk about design here. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ comes in stainless steel and glad mold in a perfect 7.9mm thickness. The symmetries of the design are so satisfying to watch.

The bezels on the screen are so thin and the camera is almost unnoticeable in the first look. The screen on Galaxy Note 10+ comes in 6.8’ inches size and spread out with 498 pixels per inch. Whereas the screen on the Note 10 comes in 6.3’ inches size and spread out with just 401 PPI.

Despite having glass and stainless steel combination, the higher-end version of Galaxy Note 10 weighs only 196gms followed by Note 10 only 168gms. That’s pretty lighter.

The polished Gorilla Glass 6 on the back refracts colors in aura hues. Both the variants come in blue and black aura colors along with their unique red and white additions.

Display:

The display of Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ are stunning. With 6.8’ and 6.3’ screens and 498 and 401 PPIs respectively, Note 10 provides a wonderful infinity-o display. The under-screen fingerprint scanner offers more security and Gorilla Glass 6 design tenders resistance over scratches.

The display with One UI is nothing to short of a pixel. The super AMOLED screen with One UI dark mode looks striking. The astonishing 1200 nit brightness is no less to a good addition to the Note 10 series.

Performance:

Housing a massive Snapdragon 855/Exynos 9825(7nm), driven by 8GB and 12GB RAM combinations for two variants, Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ make most power-efficient smooth drivers for daily usage.

In this era of high-graphic games, Samsung makes these two new Galaxy Notes engineered perfectly for gamers. The newly designed vapor chamber cooling system along with improved UI and enhanced NPU delivers smoother gaming experience with less lag even at high temperatures.

The AR capabilities of the chipset on the infinity-o display make the gaming experience more immersive and pleasing.

The Wi-Fi6 lets users connect faster. A user can download files at 2.0Gbps LTE speeds in no-Wi-Fi ranges.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 can be connected to a computer (both PC and Mac) with a USB cable to transfer files, make big-screen edits. The phone’s display will turn into a desktop when connected and it’s quite different from a regular phone screen mirroring functionality.

Samsung made it possible with its Project Dex to ease the working on multiple screens from a handheld device. This feature is Samsung exclusive. If you need it, you got to buy a Samsung premium handset.

Note 10 and Note 10+ houses 3,500mAh and 4,000mAh batteries respectively. The box is geared with 25W super-fast charger that powers up the phone in 30 minutes to last a day. The wireless charging 2.0 improved its charging speeds as well.

Reverse charging – Samsung features reverse wireless charging. You can charge your buds and other Note 10 phones by placing on the two devices touch their backs.

Reverse charging is not a new feature in the industry as Huawei has already introduced it with Huawei P30 pro.

Cameras:

This is my favorite part of any smartphone when reviewing. The camera on a mobile phone has evolved its capabilities into a pro-grade movie technology. Samsung did not disappoint us with its new Note 10 series. Samsung Note 10+ comes with a quad-camera setup whereas the Note 10 is equipped with a triple camera setup.

The real-time video effects like live bokeh and other special effects while capturing a video stands out the video-making experience.

There is a zoom-in mic feature that focuses on the recording of the audio from the zoomed subject.

The super-steady motion is another noticeable feature that is added in this Note version. It captures millions of frames to reduce motion vibrations.

The HDR10+ display shows accurate colours and tones in 4K UHD quality.

If anyone could afford a phone a for their super quality video for their YouTube, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 might answer your question.

The 123-degree field vision ultra-wide camera of rear camera setup sports a 16MP sensor accompanied by 12MP wide-angle sensor and 12MP telephoto sensor.

The dual aperture f1.5 to f2.4 offers great night photography with sharp images.

The front camera is a 10MP sensor improved for better low-light photography.

You can even use the rear depth vision camera to measure the size of the things.

S pen:

The word ‘Note series’ echoes ‘S pen’. The unibody designed S-pen is improved for precise handwriting and wireless phone controls in Galaxy Note 10.

The battery standby up to 10 hours and this won’t be much trouble unless you use it for hours.

The remote control features and air gestures and drawing of 3D and AR doodles make S-Pen a new magic wand for Note 10 users.

Price:

Galaxy Note 10 : $949

Galaxy Note 10+ : $1,099 (for 256GB), $1,199 (for 512GB)

Samsung is taking pre-registrations in the US and will be shipping the devices from August 23.

Verdict:

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ are true successors of the previous version of Note series, the Note 9. Nonetheless, the camera improvements that were already introduced by Huawei in P30 pro, the design and the processing capabilities make Galaxy Note 10 a true companion for a business person or a creative artist.
