Local mobile manufacturer Karbonn releases its new smart phone, Titanium S99 into the Indian mobile market on Monday. Let’s take a look at the technical specifications of Titanium S99 briefly and see if it can pick up with the competition.

Karbonn’s Titanium S99 has got nothing new expect the Android Kitkat 4.4. This device is priced at Rs.5,990 in the Indian market which seems it is valued more than it deserves. There are branded handsets with better features and powerful battery in the market that are available for around Rs.4,500.

The performance of the camera is not so exciting though. The 5MP is basic and cannot be expected more for its price. So end of talk about camera here.

The Titanium S99 comes with a plastic glossy panel with little popped up camera on the back and a vent for loud speaker.

Karbonn’s courageous entry with 4 inch small screen into the market may have not minded facing a fight with no chances of winning in this era of large screen smart phones.

The price for specs seems too much as one can get the baby beast in the box, Moto E for little more addition to the price they get S99 for.

The multitasking and smart caller ID features are no special attraction as many of the Android phones are having this feature, that too with Kitkat 4, they are negligible in comparison.
