Nokia’s new to family device, the big boss of all Lumia handsets, Lumia 1520 enters the market giving a tough competition to the redefined zoom edition Lumia 1020. Lumia 1520 is slightly heaver than the 1020. Extra 50g is not an issue with the 6’’ inch phones.

Camera
1020 has powerful camera allowing users to use it as a DSLR sometimes. The camera of 1020 dominates 1520 in every aspect. With redefined zoom feature Lumia 1020 has ability to beat any camera phone on the planet.
Regarding camera Lumia 1020 is the winner.
Screen
1520 comes with much bigger screen of 6’’ inch size and 367ppi which is more sharper than the 1020’s 331ppi. The display is made out with IPS LCD screen making blacks much darker than the AMOLED screens. So regarding the screen and display 1520 wins the race but practically 6’’ screen isn’t necessary for non-business people. You must make up your mind before rating the screen of these both devices.
SIM
Nokia Lumia 1520 is upgraded to next level in SIM card technologies. It allows single Nano SIM card which is a benchmark update to the lumia devices in the market where as Lumia 1020 supports single Micro SIM only.
Size of the SIM doesn’t matter until it is specified its network. So, cannot decide the winner in this case.
Music
Lumia 1020 has stereo speaker for clear loud music and 3.5 mm headphones jack to listen in private. 1520 lacks FM radio where as 1020 still have it and also lumia 1520 have only 3.5 mm jack which is normal in this case. 1020 knocks out 1520 in music comparison.
Sensors
The same sensors that existed in lumia 1020 found in 1520 but one. Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Compass are continued in 1520 except Barometer sensor.

Price of Nokia Lumia 1520 is Rs. 45,999 and Nokia Lumia 1020 is Rs.46,999.
Conclusion
Both lumia big bosses are good and adorable. If you wanted a camera cum smart phone better to choose Lumia 1020. If you wanted a high power business phone that’s fits in your coat pocket, Lumia 1520 is the answer. That doesn’t mean 1520’s camera is bad but when comparing with the 1020 it lags a little to its price.
