How To Change Your Google Drive’s Language

Sometimes, intentionally or unintentionally enthusiastic people who always wanted to learn after trying out face trouble and sit in a corner thinking about how bad they messed up. Such a thing happened with Google Drive to one of my friends a couple of days ago. In his case, it was turned to Chinese. I’ll guide you (with screenshots) through the settings which are already in another language. Step up with me,

Step 1: Login to your Google Drive at

Step 2: Then you will see your files from the Google Drive.

I haven’t added any files yet in my Google Drive so it is showing no files in it. Never mind it, because our problem is something else.

Step 3: My Google Drive’s language settings aren’t changed, so it’s showing in English. People might confuse after seeing their Google Drive in another language that they never going to understand. Though the text changes, icon buttons won’t change language right?

Click on the gear button on the top right of your Google Drive.

The highlighted text is the ‘Settings’ option. Click on it to open settings window.

Step 4: In the General tab, you will find the first option, the language settings. Click on the drop-down menu to choose your language. Press Save button after choosing a language that you can understand. If you can’t find what is 'Save’ button of those two, see the screenshot below.

That’s all! You got your Google Drive back in understandable language again. Isn’t it simple!! I know it is, but it is quite confusing too. Feel free to comment if you still face any problem and let me know about your happy dance.
