How to send .exe files via email

One of the most irritating feature of email systems is they won’t allow .exe files to be sent through attachments. You might be looking forward to get a solution for this problem so far. Google collaborated its Google drive with the mail attachments. Normally Gmail allows only 25MB of attachments be uploaded through mail. But to send more than 25MB is a hard task. So eventually we send the data in 25MB parts via several mails.

Here’s the catch

Attachments so far are limited to Gmail space only. After Google collaborated Google drive for attaching files more than 25MB, people took a sigh of relief. Though, we cannot attach .exe files directly into the Gmail.

Let’s do the old school trick

Zipping the files is another option everyone would have tried. But, I can guess what would have happened with everyone with old Gmail. Doing the same with the Google drive would work until you choose to upload your zipped .exe  files in to Google drive.

In a single word I say, upload your files into Google drive and attach them to your mail. You can even set permissions to access the files in the Google drive. That’s such easy to send .exe files via Gmail. Stay tuned for more updates!
