Hiding folders from unauthorized access would be even easier than ever now. You no need to download any extra tool or extension for doing this. You might have already tried renaming the folder with no name by using ‘Alt+255’ trick. You can just hide the folder by disguising it with the recycle bin. Simply follow the procedure I’ve shown below.
Press F2 or Right Click and select Rename to rename the folder you wanted to hide.
Right after the folder name, paste the following extension .{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}. For e.g., If we suppose the folder name as ‘New Folder’, just rename it as New Folder.{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} and save it.
You will see the folder turning into a clone of recycle bin. Don’t worry your data would be safe in there and you can get it back by renaming it. To do that select folder, press F2 and paste ren FolderName.{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} FolderName.
Replace FolderName to the name of the folder you wanted to restore it into. Try this trick with different renaming tricks and post a comment of thanks if you liked this trick.
