Comparatively the two phablets gives a tough competition to one another starting with the processing speed to the price.

Processor

LG G2 is really surprising with 2.26 GHZ Quad core speed processor which executes tasks with double speed than Samsung Galaxy S4’s processor.

RAM

Both devices come with 2 GB RAM which runs the heavy graphical application so smoothly. So both devices wins in case of RAM.

Display

The screen size of the Galaxy S4 is slightly less than that of LG G2. The .2 inch difference can be seen in the increased width of the screen in G2. The sharpness and brightness of the screens are facilitated with the latest Super Amoled Display and IPS technologies.

Samsung Galaxy S4 is configured with Super Amoled Display on Gorilla Glass 3 with 441 ppi where as LG G2 is configured with LCD IPS technology on Gorilla Glass 3 with 423 ppi. In case of display, Samsung gives the brightest and sharpest image on the screen. LG G2 is no less to Samsung Galaxy S4, but in this tough fight among these two devices, little details matters.

Camera

The camera for both devices is so good. Samsung Galaxy S4’s camera with 12.8 MP gives best low light photos to LG G2’s 13 MP camera. LG gives optical image stabilization which gives true results than Samsung’s digital image stabilization.

Both devices have LED flash, auto focus, panorama and 2.0 MP secondary camera.

Battery

Battery backup for these devices have a profound impact on both. LG’s 3.000mAh battery gives more hours of talktime, web browsing and video playback comparatively to Galaxy S4’s 2,600mAh. 

OS

Both devices are installed with latest version of Android 4.2.2 and also upgradable to Android 4.3 and future versions like Android Kit Kat 4.4.

Memory

Galaxy S4 is available in 16GB. 32GB and 64 GB where as LG G2 is available in 16GB and 32 Gb only.

The price range of these devices given by some of the retailers makes the mark. WS retail gives LG G2 for Rs. 37,959/- and Samsung Galaxy S4 for Rs. 35,699/-. If you wanted a device with very high speed processing and more talk time, better to go with G2 and if you want a device to take some decent photographs, high speed processor and a brightest display technology, better to choose Galaxy S4.
