Realme 5 & Realme 5 Pro Teased with 64MP Quad Camera Setup

The young company, Realme, is now taking leaps towards new additions to its flagship devices. After intensely promoting Realme X for a couple of months, Madhav has changed his twitter profile name to ‘Madhav ‘5’Quad’. It was ‘Madhav X’ till yesterday.

The new devices are named with ‘5’ series instead of ‘4’ which is supposedly be coming after Realme 3 and Realme 3 Pro. Why do you think they skip ‘4’ in their product line? Comment your thoughts below.

“Just got hands on the world's first 64MP quad camera device that will be revealed this Thursday. Check how crazy the clarity is! Btw we don't believe in hype so this device will be the most practical choice at its price and it will be launched very soon. #StayTuned”, Madhav talks about the new upcoming Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro in a tweet.

Coming to the devices, the USP is undoubtedly going to be the camera with 64MP main camera sensor, followed by other three sensors for wide-angle, monochrome and depth-sensing shots. The Realme 5 Pro may come with Snapdragon 735 on board and Realme 5 with MediaTek G90 chipset.

The SD735 is a 7mm chipset accompanied by 620 Adreno GPU which improves gaming experience comparatively with its previous versions of ‘7’ series chipsets. The latest G90 from MediaTek houses Arm Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU for smooth gameplay of Fortnite, PUBG, KOG, and other top graphic games in the store.

Both devices may focus on gaming performance and battery life. Hoping that they would continue the legacy of 4,000mAh batteries on the devices.

The budget version Realme 5 may sport a waterdrop notch yet as the premium version, Realme 5 Pro might be equipped with a pop-up selfie camera on the front. Both the phones might be introduced with UFS 2.1 storage for their higher-end models.

Now, the Realme X is passed for Realme and they will be joining the frustrated community asking for software updates for buggy Color OS 6. Do you think Realme ignores the ‘hype killer’ Realme X like they did to Realme 3 Pro and Realme 2 Pro? Comment your opinions.
