If you are trying to make the most of Google Plus for your business, the new UI can answer your thoughts with the best networking strategies.

Upgrading to new UI

To enable the new UI on your side, just open the Google+ and you will be shown a prompt with a dialog asking you to try out the new UI. This looks as follows,

Alternate method:

You can still switch to the new UI even though the prompt is not shown. Go to Settings and scroll down to Manage other apps and activity. Click on Manage Google+ activity > There you could see a search bar in a whole new UI > Click on it and see you profile changing into the new UI in a couple of seconds.

Tip: Make sure your browser isn’t blocking any popup lightbox scripts. You can see the popup every time you open Google+ on your browser.

New Google+(Plus) features

The new Google Plus comes with full screen responsive layout. Though the responsive design is already in the basket but you will see a tablet and smartphone friendly layout in new Google Plus.

#1 Everything on the top navigation bar has been moved on to the sidebar.

#2 Every menu has its own Google family colors. You can notice it by switching among the menu tabs.

#3 All settings are brought under one roof instead of dividing them into Settings | Audience in old interface.

#4 Option to enable or disable Circle Streams which shows the updates only from a specific circle of friends.
