Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo Review | Is it worth buying compared to Galaxy Grand 2?

Samsung has got a new baby in its galaxy family. Yes of course! the galaxy grand’s family. After the recent release of Galaxy Grand 2, may be the company couldn’t wait to release the new version of grand the Grand Neo. This product have already entered sales in Netherlands a month ago and it may be announced by the end of next week in India. The rumored price of this gadget is about Rs.19,000 and according to the Mumbai retailer the best buy would be available for Rs.18,190.  The general pre-release anxiety has been filled up in minds of gadget freaks. Let’s take a look at the features and the ‘new factor’ which is for what I would be searching for, when buying a gadget. Then you decide if it is worth buying?

When compared with the Galaxy Grand 2, Neo has dominating16GB of internal memory over 8GB of Grand 2. This is the only new factor I’ve noticed in Grand Neo till now. The Neo comes with 1GB of RAM where as Grand 2 comes with 1.5GB of RAM.

The camera is another one to be considered. The rear camera of Neo is just of 5MP and of Grand 2’s is of 8MP. The front camera of Grand 2 is of 1.9MP where as the Neo’s is a VGA camera. So the camera of Neo is not that good as in Grand 2.

When compared with the both prices, Neo’s price is slightly lesser than Grand 2. Neo’s is going to available around Rs.19,000 where as the Galaxy Grand 2 is available for around Rs.23,000. If 500MB of RAM and 3 extra megapixels of camera costing nearly Rs.4,000 seems apt to you, go for Galaxy Grand 2 or else better to choose Galaxy Grand Neo.
